Shipping Coordinator Temporary

ABB Vietnam currently has an opportunity for a Shipping Coordinator who will be responsible to support business Function to ensure goods are shipped whilst meeting quality, legal and cost parameters. Based at Ha Noi city and reporting to Transport and Logistic Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• Planning
o Create shipping plan and make pre-booking based on information export from SAP program.
o Utilized SAP software systems to facilitate material movement, planning and updating inform relevant parties and customers about shipments.
• Scheduling
o Prepares and updates monthly logistics schedule to ensure deliveries to production locations and coordinates product delivery schedule with customers.
o Strictly follow shipping operation procedure and method statement according to ABB standard requirements.
• Tracking
o Follow up shipments and co-ordinate with Forwarder, PM, customers & other relevant parties to solve potential problems and other request from customer.
o Coordinates daily activities to track location and movement of inventory finished goods and raw materials via all transport modes, and re-routes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize cost.
• Service Providers
o Prepare documents for opening Customs Declaration and registering norm with Customs.
o Prepare and send shipping documents to customers, including documents to make C/O.
o Work closely with transport service and assists in obtaining necessary transport permits and code and prepares proper transportation paper work and export documentation.
o File shipping documents accordingly.
• Data management
o Monitor and review performance of forwarders for costs, quality and on time delivery.
o Evaluate offer from forwarder and recommend the best offer for approval as per ABB procedure.
o Strictly follow shipping operation procedure and method statement according to ABB standard requirements.

To be considered for this role you should have,
• University degree in Foreign Trade, International Trading, Economics
• 2 - 5+ years’ experience in supply chain, international trades or logistics function.
• Attention to detail, self-starters, proactive, team work, self-learn, ability, good interpersonal skills and result-oriented.
• Knowledge of custom regulation
• Good at organizing and methodology working.
• Strong English written and verbal communications skills.
• Good computer skills, particularly MS Excel and SAP
