Shipping Clerk

* General:
- Monitor and process documentation and activities for all processing export and import smoothly, on time.

- The Documentation Officer is responsible for the proper handling of customs and port documentation, handling of delivery orders, release of cargo release notes to customers against payments of dues and proper endorsed documents. Follow up of documentation requirements with local customers as well as overseas principals.

* Particular job:
Comply with all the necessary customs clearance formalities for import and export processing goods based on the request form from sub-contractors.
• Check invoice, packing list,
• Check customs clearance sheet
• Check Customs shipping document
• Inspect clearance of goods/ materials
• Follow up processing contract-implementing status to process liquidation processing contract at Customs.
• Solve problem

- 3- 5 years of shipping knowledge & documentation.
- Experience in Garments is advantageS
- Good knowledge of Custom/Port Rules and regulations.
- Experience in Sea Shipments/ Air Freight shipments / Freight Forwarding.
- Good telephone manners / Customer handling.
- Experience and good knowledge of the local/international shipping documentation. requirement , Local customs regulations and clearance procedures.
