Shift Leader (Plastic Business - Extrusion and Bag Making)

Currently we have the very exciting position of Shiftleader available (2 or 3 Positions). We are looking for disciplined Leaders with strong Leadership. Logical and analyitical thinking is a must. Pls. read carefully through below descriptions and our requirements. You will lead 60 People (Extrusion, Bagmaking and Recycling). The Job Location is in Ben Luc, Long An Province. We prefer applicants which are not living in Ben Luc and surrounding area.

What will you do:

A. A. SAFETY
B. 1. Comply with all company and corporate environment, safety and health policies, programs,procedures and job specific roles and responsibilities defined in the ESH Manual
• Ensure to meet government regulations, minimize ESH Management risks and control loss to the organization
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Report any identified potential hazard or unsafe conditions observed within the area of responsibility
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while inside the production area

B. ADMINISTRATIVE
2. Prepares Shift Production Report, memoranda and internal correspondence. Ensures its correctness, completeness & accuracy IN ORDER TO ensure that all-pertinent information are passed on to the incoming shift.

C. PRODUCTIVITY / EFFICIENCY
3. Ensures that standard quantity per shift is achieved in conformance of the established quality requirements, Production output are monitored , Rejection and Spoilage Rate are being checked and Downtimes Analyzed. IN ORDER TO meet company objectives:

D. PLANNING
4. Prepares manpower requisition and schedules taking into account the optimization of manpower resources IN ORDER TO meet production requirements and deliveries on time.

E. QUALITY
5. Ensure the high Quality product in the Production Department.

F. CONTROL / EMPOWERMENT
6. Monitors personnel posting /assignments during the shift, absences, tardiness and break times. Conduct counseling sessions to employees with behavioral problems, identify training needs of production personnel and conduct coaching and motivating sessions IN ORDER TO reduces overtime work by 10% and develop each employees full potential

G. MEETINGS
7. Conducts regular meetings with production personnel to establish team work and discuss production & quality issues at hand. Provides regular update to management regarding vital information’s coming from the line that may have an impact in the company’s operation IN ORDER TO establish open-communication to all levels in the organization.
8. Responsible for the smooth turnover of all information to the incoming shift. Endorsed any problem encountered related to process and machine that affects quality issues to Maintenance Supervisor and Technician with corresponding job request to maintenance.

H. HOUSEKEEPING (5’s)
8. Comply with all Company and Corporate 5S programs, policies and procedures. IN ORDER TO maintain a clean and orderly workplace

9. Ensures that Procedures, Guidelines, Forms and other Quality Records are updated and filed

Must be an graduate of Engineering with minimum work experience of 1 year.
• Technical Course equivalent of 2 yrs. experience in the Plastic Industry.
• Very good Leadership Skills
• Very good Inter Personal Skills
• Proficient in Oral and Written communication (English and Vietnamese)
• Computer Literate (MS Word & Internet)
• With knowledge in Basic Supervision
• Can work with extreme pressure and less supervision
