Service Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Service Department Operations
• Provide prompt, dependable, high quality service to customers.
• Ensure Service Department contributes an acceptable level of gross $ net profit
• Maintain service follow-up program
• Grow the volume of service work
• Maintain budgeted revenue & expense objectives
• Develop promotional campaigns with Marketing Department & other Departments
• Provide reports to BM / GM, as requested
• Develop monthly and annual objectives for the Department
• Manage warranty claims
• Manage Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI)
• Set policies and procedures for Service Department
• Develop procedures in conjunction with Parts Department that ensures a smooth flow of parts to Technicians during jobs.
• Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for Service & Parts management.
• Manage Mobile Workshop. Organize purchases & modifications if needed
• Manage and update Workshop equipment and tools
• Control workshop material inventory
• Ensure the workshop is always clean, efficient, orderly and presentable to customers.
• Attend training sessions to keep current with Service Department issues
2) Customer Service
• Manage customer database
• Manage customer complains related to technical issues
• Maintain high level of customer satisfaction
3) Personnel Management
• Establish departmental work schedule, balancing the work loads of all employees
• Monitor and address all comebacks with individual technicians
• Maximize productivity levels of Technicians.
• Establish job assignments for all Service employees within their skill levels
• Manage employee performance (evaluate and counsel)
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring & termination employees
• Maintain records of all employees performance reviews
• Ensure appropriate training is provided to all Service employees
4) Other Duties
As assigned

REQUIREMENTS :
• Bachelor degree or higher
• Minimum 2 years progressive experiences in Motor vehicle / Automotive sector .
• Good knowledge of vehicle systems & technologies
• Fluent English
• Excellent communication skill
• Proficient in Computer Skills
• Dynamic, positive, confident, self-motivated and good team leader
• Current, valid motorcycle license (Preferably having A2 license or ability to get one)
