ABB’s Industrial Automation Division provides modern solutions for various types of industries. The division consists of seven business units: Oil, Gas and Chemicals (IAOG), Process Industries (IAPI), Marine and Ports (IAMP), Turbocharging (IATU), Control Technologies (IACT), Power Generation (IAPG) and Measurement and Analytics (IAMA).
ABB is active across the entire hydrocarbon value chain, from exploration and production to supply, transport and distribution, as well as refining, chemicals and petrochemicals. Our offerings range from integrated automation and electrical products and systems, to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services, to service itself.
ABB Vietnam currently has an opportunity for a Service Engineer in IA division who will be responsible to lead and manage technical service activities by providing technical support and ensure customer needs are understood. Based at Ho Chi Minh city and reporting to Engineering Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
• Leading Commissioning/ service for DCS of Process automation as paper, mine, cement, metal; specially is industry business oil & gas, safety system
• Providing technical support and problem solving via remote or on-site service to meet or exceed customer expectation accordance with ABB procedures and safety guidelines in any service category (installation supervision, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades engineering, retrofits or advanced services.).
• implementation and making reports based upon ABB standards and on project specific customer specifications
• Proactively identifying potential failures and proactive corrective actions to avoid repeating failures in the future
• Ensuring customer needs are understood and effective service solutions utilized for Service growth
• Execution service / upgrading project, configuration, testing, commissioning and site acceptance test
• Supporting sales in proposing cost effective and /or Innovative upgrading/
• Ensuring safety rules and regulations are followed.

Yêu cầu ứng viên
To be considered for this role you should have,
• Education – University degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/ automation.
• 5 years of relevant experience in services in industry of DCS Oil &Gas automation and Safety system, TUV certification is priority.
• High knowledge in technology of process automation; electrical products, electrification, covering the principles of design, engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, modifications, trouble shooting and repair.
• Ability to work independently, effectively and act decisively communication skills.
• Good command of English, Office software application, AutoCad or equivalent.
• Good command of DCS software programming and application.
• Willing to travel and working at site both onshore and offshore under project specification.
• Willing to work in oversea projects.
• Education – University degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/ automation.
