Sepg/software Quality Assurance (SQA) Specialist

As a member of the SEPG/SQAG team, the SEPG/SQA specialist will be responsible for assuring quality and processes implementation across the life-cycle of a software development project. Primary duties will include:

• Consult and support process implementation and quality improvement activity.
• Consult and support about development tools for Project Management, Testing and Configuration Management, etc…
• Support to implement metric gathering method and metric tool
• Deploy and institutionalize development process, methods and tools to projects
• Support projects to implement process by training and answering query
• Perform audits of software development and project management processes using standard process descriptions and requirements
• Identify issues in process compliance and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant fields.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in CMMI (preferable).
• 2-3 years of experience in software development, testing or related disciplines.

Required Skill and Abilities:

• Technical skills
o Good understanding of different Software Development Life Cycle models.
o Good knowledge and experiences of software quality assurance practices in software development.
o Understand software engineering processes and know about process improvement. Should have experience in assisting project teams in process implementation.
o Have knowledge of CMMI or other equivalent Software Quality Framework and Standards.
o Official certification of CMMI, CSQA or other equivalent Software Quality Framework and Standards is an advantage.

• Soft skill/Personality
o Excellent communication skills & interpersonal skills.
o Good at writing skills and written communication.
o Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
o Self-motivated and capable of motivating others. Should be enthusiast about the process improvement and the organization.
o Good problem-solving skills.
o Careful & well organized in work.
