Senior Web Developer (Go/rails/react)

CodeLink is an innovative and design-focused development studio made up of an international mix of Designers and Developers. Our main stacks are Golang, Rails, NodeJS and ReactJS. We have built products in different industries, including Finance, Education, Entertainment, HR, etc for clients ranging from start-ups such as CryptoKitties to big companies such as Air Asia and Electronic Arts.

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer who has a solid technical background and a drive to help other members. A perfect candidate is someone with excellent knowledge about web development. We don't care too much about specific frameworks or languages, but we will be asking you a lot of questions about databases, performance, scalability, security etc.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Working with different stakeholders to design flexible and adaptive applications that can grow with the business needs
- Researching new technologies to apply for different projects, such as a new web framework or a new development trend
- Supervising and advising projects from an early stage to launch
- Helping other teams and members to continuously improve their skills and productivity
- Working on Web and Mobile products for a diverse range of Clients and industries
- Working and pair programming with other developers to build applications with Go / Rails / Node.js and React
- Cooperating with UI Designer to implement modern minimalist designs into production
- Contributing to the local Tech Ecosystem by mentoring, writing articles and joining events.

DESIRED SKILL-SET:

MUST HAVE:

- Require a minimum of 5 years of experience with at least a popular web framework.
- Require relevant knowledge of relational database systems like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Require Git, Github and Pull Request knowledge
- Require experience with Service Oriented Architecture
- Require experience with web technologies such as REST API, security, performance etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

GOOD TO HAVE:

- Familiar with deployment, scaling, monitoring and performance tuning.
- Familiar with Agile Process and Scrum Methodologies.
- Familiar with NoSQL, Message Queue, gRPC
- Familiar with Extreme Programming methodologies such as Test Driven Development, Refactoring and Continuous Integration.
