Senior Video Editor

FUNCTIONAL BUSINESS OBJECTIVES (FBOs):
Serve as a key person of the creative team constantly striving to put out innovative and creative media assets. Work closely with creative from treatment, script, storyboard to post production building a strong understanding of the outcome desired ensuring that top quality digital assets are consistently provided.
REPORTS TO: Manager of Content Production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CRITICAL DRIVERS:
[20% Production]
1. Work closely with Manager of Content Production during preparation of treatment, script and storyboard.
2. Ability to clearly see what the end product needs to look like and prepare to execute post-production efficiently the first time
3. Work closely with video shoot requester to ensure that we produce the digital asset they need within requested deadline.
4. Stay up to date on industry trends to have constant growth for CMG.ASIA creative productions
Key Performance Indicator (KPI):
 Outstanding preparation with other departments leads to successful end product 95% of the time.
 Growth in video is clearly seen through video standards growing
 New ideas for videos are presented at least 1 time per month
[10% Execution during Production]
1. Work with camera crew closely to ensure all needed footage is obtained
2. Ability to scout locations, find sources to rent stages, backgrounds and any other props needed for producing digital assets to ensure that the post production concludes with an outstanding video
Key Performance Indicator (KPI):
 There are no more than 2-4 complaints in a single year about post-production process.
 Post Production is successful 95% of the time without having to re shoot
 Clearly seen quality growth in videos measured quarterly via video guideline standards

1. Keep a hard drive of all videos completed and categorized by brand.
2. Take raw footage from shooting day and build it into an outstanding video with the exact outcome that requester has desired
3. Various digital assets completed by video editor with clear distinction in brand identity
4. Work with producer closely with post production always meeting deadlines and meeting high quality digital asset standards
5. Strive to always raise video editing standards completing post production to or beyond expected standards
Key Performance Indicator (KPI):
- New video editing ideas and growth is clearly seen that will be monitored quarterly.
- Hard drive is well organized and in an access place that studio team knows at all times
- Post production always completed on time and to CMG.Asia standard or better 95% of the time with no errors due to video editor

- 2-5 years of experience working as video editor
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut)
- English and Vietnamese skills
- Extremely organized and ability to work well with team
- Ability to work under pressure while still maintaining state.
- Strong time management skills and detail oriented.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Outstanding work ethic and high standards.
- Strong knowledge in the production of digital assets.
- Desire for growth.
