Underwriter:
Job Responsibilities:
- Underwriting new proposals/ existing policies with total relevant sum assured within authorization limit set within standard turnaround time.
- Reviewing and signing off underwriting cases by lower level within approved authority.
- Handling policy holders/ agent‘s complaints about underwriting medical decisions.
- Coordinating and cooperating with other related sections/outsiders to smoothly solve all underwriting medical issues in the region.
- Taking part in building underwriting manual and update regularly when having any changes include Underwriting forms (Health questionnaires, Occupation questionnaires, …), Occupation guideline, Financial guideline, …

Claim Assessor:
Key responsibilities
- Review, analysis and make decision on claims within own authority with Productivity/Efficiency is at leat 95%
- Meet the standard quality scored by Quality team and Control error rate within own rate (Ex: ≤ 0.5% vs job grade 3B and ≤ 1% vs job grade 4A)
- Support claim colleagues (investigators or administrators) in some certain situation (reading original medical record at the hospital, field assessment of disability, mentor for administrators…) and support underwriting section when increasing volume of new business (month-end, contest…),
- Co-operate with claim investigator in claimant interview in some certain situation and to build up internal guideline
- Others: to be assigned by the Line manager or Company’s management (if any)

- Qualification: Medical or Pharmaceutical Background (Medical Doctor is preferable)
- Experience (Preferable): 2-year experience in hospital or in underwriting/claim in Insurance
- Knowledge: Office computer, Medical background
- Skills: Judgment, Communication skills & Customer service
