Senior Tax Consultant – Global Employer Services

Key Accountability:

• Assist Managers in performing Global Employer Services (GES) engagements, including: Personal Income Tax, Immigration and Payroll services and other required engagements;
• Assist Managers in preparing proposals and business development materials, identifying potential service opportunities and approaching strategic accounts;
• Assist Managers in developing standardization processes to improve efficiency and ensure risk management;
• Work independently and collaborate well with team members to prepare accurate working papers and/or concise and well-written reports using appropriate business and technical knowledge on a timely basis;
• Instruct staff below to conduct research, analyse tax issues and draft tax advice related to clients’ issues on PIT, Immigration, Payroll, Labour and Social insurance (if any) and ensure quality of work delivered to Managers;
• Provide timely guidance and direct feedback and mentorship that contribute to the ongoing development of the staff in the team; and
• Develop and maintain distinct relationships with peers at client organizations;

Basic qualifications:

• Good time and project management to ensure engagements run smoothly;
• Good Microsoft Office’s skills: Excel and Power-point;
• Good English skills (especially writing skills). Ability to use a second language (Korean, Chinese or Japanese) would be a plus point.
• Good analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
• Careful and attentive to details;
• Dedicated to superior client service.
• Able to work under pressure and handle multitasks and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
