Senior Systems Analyst

FUNCTION:
Knowledgeable in the manufacturing, financial, and supplemental GLOVIA ERP (software packages). Work closely with all the departments to develop knowledge of business processes and system requirements. Provide leadership and assistance in the selection, set up, implementation and support of information technology solutions and business process change management to support the manufacturing environment.

Report to: IT Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
Confidential information: Access to manufacturing and proprietary process costing and corporate information. Access to customer lists and proprietary customer information.
Contact with others: Will have constant contact with all departments within company, also IT Corporate

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1- IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT OF BUSINESS APPLICATION AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SOLUTIONS:
- Develop and document requirements for data conversion and integration activities when implementing manufacturing software solutions
- Develop and execute system testing to ensure software quality
- Develop system support as well as end-user documentation as appropriate for post-implementation system support and end-user training
- Develop and validate all reports to ensure a quality implementation
- Work closely with all departments and external consultants in delivering a solution.

2- SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS:
- Develop a thorough knowledge of manufacturing system requirements and business processes.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of manufacturing and supplemental software solutions
- Initiate and participate in the design and implementation of business process change.
- Define report requirements and develop a comprehensive report development and implementation plan

3- PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Develop and manage project plans to effectively implement information technology solutions, indicating significant milestones.
- Determine programming resource needs to complete project.
- Meet project schedules/milestones.

4- SERVICE DELIVERY:
- Provide day-to-day Operation Support of all Business Systems. Strive to ensure high system availability and reliability.
- Provide frequent status update to the user community of outstanding issues.
- Timely response to system or process issue. Follow-up to issue until it’s closure.
- Adhere to Corporate and Department IT Policies, Standard and Guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: B.S. Information Science or related field
2. Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in GLOVIA ERP management
- Minimum 2/3 years experience in software development, implementation or support
3. Special abilities:
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process.
- Demonstrated experience in the support and/or implementation of business application software packages
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with end-users and management. Good command of spoken and written English.
- Familiar with current data base technology including the ability to analyse programs and use utilities based on SQL, Oracle..
- Familiar with several computer operating operating systems, relational databases and
- Report Writing tools including MS Windows, MS Access, MS SQL or Crystal Report.
- Open to domestic and international travel.
4. Accountability:
- Responsible for the setup, implementation and support of manufacturing, financial, and other business systems.
