Senior System Engineer in Swiss Company

Looking for a challenging but rewarding role in a growing international office? We’re looking for experienced Microsoft System Engineers.
You are required to bring related know-how, valid certifications and work experience:

• Implement and maintain Microsoft server platforms
• Implement, operate and manage cloud solutions
• Support our clients' journey to the cloud in a dynamic team
• Monitor infrastructure and systems
• Improve up-time and find proactive resolutions to potential issues
• Timely respond to incidents and ensure quality
• Maintain ownership of reported issues
• Provision support, troubleshooting assistance and technical advice
• Operate and manage the global infrastructure
• Liaise with vendors and partners
• Ensure best practice and cost efficient setup
• Ensure documentation of infrastructure and systems
• Share functional responsibilities within team
• Perform other duties as required
• Collaborate with Engineers abroad
• Participate in on-call duty
• Keep records of implementation and changes

Qualifications:
• Advanced English communication and teamworking skills
• At least 5 years of proven experience as IT support and system engineer
• Valid and up to date Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, RedHat or other certification
• Ability to work under pressure with tight dead-lines
• Analytical and logical thinking

Professional Competencies:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Server Platform
• OS, AD, Exchange, SQL, Clusters, PowerShell
Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint Online, Azure Active Directory
Competencies to fulfill functional responsibilities
Client Infrastructure experience
• Desktops, Thin Clients operation and management
• Data Protection (Backup) and Security
Virtualization
• VMware or Hyper-V Operation and management experience
Infrastructure knowledge
• Servers, Network and Communication requirements and experience
Backup and security solutions for corporate infrastructure

Knowledge and experience in the following technologies/products is an advantage:
• Citrix XenApp Platform
• VMware Virtualization
• Linux networking administration
• Veeam Backup & Replication
• Microsoft Azure (Compute)
• Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
• Microsoft Certification Authority
