We currently have an open vacancy Senior Structural Design Engineer work in the Advisory Group Industry & Buildings (I&B) Vietnam.
The successful applicants will be working in a very positive and professional environment. We offer on-the-job-training by international experts, good labor conditions and the possibility for inter-company rotation, if wished also outside Vietnam.
Reports to Structural Department Manager.
Job Description:
- Structural design work in general.
- Designing and check capacity of concrete and steel structures.
- Making calculations by hand and by using computer software SAP, ETAB, ROBOT.
- Drawing of the design in AutoCAD, Revit, Advance Steel. Working in a project team and cooperating with the team members of various disciplines such as architect and M&E in preparing an integrated design, models and presentation pictures. Participate in project meetings.
- Prepare, review and develop technical specifications.
- Very good communication in English (verbal, written, contractual)
- Project costing including quantity measurement, tender evaluation, produce and price Bills of Quantitties.
- Manage interactions with other disciplines/departments as well as external parties i.e. clients, local authorities, contractors.
- Assist Team leaders/Department manager for project plaining and monitoring and internal staff.
- Assist Department manager in preparation of proposals and contracts.
- Communication in English (verbal, written, contractual)

• At least 6 years in the field of structure design, prefer for candidates with experience of industrial projects.
• Required to do project design as well as carry out and audit designs.
• Professional certificate of structure design.
• Must have good/ excellent spoken/ written in English
• At least 4 years of experience in foreign companies, familiar with International standards and VN design standards.
• Proficient in using SAP, ETAB, Robot, AutoCAD, Revit, Advance Steel.
