Senior Specialist, Business Intelligence

Job summary
Perform, maintain and optimize Business Intelligence infrastructure, data integrity/relationships, as well as reporting and business process, to ensure business needs that scale both technically and operationally are delivered with high service level

General responsibilities
Support superior in managing day-to-day operating reporting system to ensure reports are sending on-time and accuracy
Provide solutions, perform implementation and monitor validation processes to ensure data integrity and optimal performance
Design, develop, implement and monitor source-to-target systems to ensure availability, as well as providing support, problem determination and resolution of business intelligence reporting/technical issues within service level expectations
Participate in requirement analysis with business users and convert to functional specification which is for development
Maintain internal processes and quality standards documentation to ensure process controls and audits are up to date and aligned to DKSH IT standards
Assist and support BI Business Objects application/SQL databases within various project implementations, including global/country support processes
Conduct knowledge transfer, training and best practice sharing to business users or other internal stakeholders to ensure knowledge availability/continuity
Negotiate solutions with business stakeholders and business users
Ensure adherence to agreed service/operational level agreements as well as user satisfaction
Support SAP Applications issues; escalate complex issues in a timely manner to achieve/maintain user satisfaction
Understand and establish communication on user needs and priorities.
Leadership responsibilities
Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Business Intelligence, IT Applications and DKSH behaviors as part of continuous learning

Functional skills and knowledge
Demonstrate visual design skills used to create information-dense and easy-to-understand reports/dashboards
Demonstrate relational database and star schema design and implementation skills
Demonstrate experience in the implementation of business intelligence tools (e.g. SAP Business Warehouse, Business Warehouse on HANA, Business Objects and SQL Servers)
Be abreast of the latest technologies and technological opportunities within the specific domain/area of expertise
Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
SQL Server and database skill

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computing / Information Technology or equivalent
Work experience Up to two years' experience in similar role.
