Senior Sourcing Specialist

OBJECTIVE:
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and obtain product expertise to effectively support a company’s supply chain system.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Sourcing suitable suppliers based on customer’s inquiry and orders.
• Negotiate on purchasing terms and cost with vendors/suppliers to meet company requirement.
• Evaluate and select potential suppliers by reviewing capability and facility.
• Monitor on-time delivery and leverage vendor’s performance and product quality.
• Product presentation through samples and display to buyers during their visits.
• Sourcing, making offers and preparing itinerary for buyers.
• Cooperate with Purchasing, R&D Dept. in product development, costing, production planning.
• Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing technique
• Song Than III, Phu Tan Ward, Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong
• Provide shuttle bus for all employees from Binh Thanh District- TPHCM

REQUIRED SKILLS :
• At least 8 years’ experience in Indoor Furniture Industry;
• Good knowledge of furniture technical; understanding steel/ lamp products’ technical is a plus
• Experience in North American market is advantage.
• Having a positive open mind, flexible on the job & be able to multi-task in a high paced environment.
• Having good communications & negotiation skills.
• Work independently but being a team player in problem solving.
• English fluently; Chinese is a plus
• Job may involve frequently domestic and/or overseas travel
