Senior Software Engineer

REPORT TO: Lead Software Engineer – TBD

EMPLOYEE LEVEL: Senior/ Leader

RESPONSIBILITY:
- Work in one of development team as developer to help team complete task of developing product.
- Working with Dev Manager and Dev lead and team in grooming to clarify the requirement and estimation
- Design system based on the industry best practice
- Create test cases, develop unit test program, running unit test, and create unit test report
- Design system based on the industry best practice

Your qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.

Your mandatory skills:
- Capacity to identify and keep up to date on relevant technologies
- Hands-on mentality with get-it-done attitude
- Recognizes own strengths and weaknesses
- Collaborative, with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English
- Strong in Java framework, especially in Spring
- Object-oriented programming (OOP), Java and J2EE technologies
- Strong ability in analyze the requirements, detect the quality risks when changing requirements

Nice-to-have skills:
- Object-relational mapping (ORM), especially Hibernate
- Web service structures, especially the SOAP and REST
- Code configuration management (build manager), especially Maven, Ant
- The development environment on Linux distributions, especially CentOS
- Basic level of knowledge of the application server (Web Logic, JBoss, Tomcat, etc.)
- Basic level database information, especially MySQL
- Code revision systems, especially SVN and GIT
- Project tracking tools (Trac, Bugzilla, Lighthouse, JIRA, Redmine etc.)
- Software development experience in web and/or e-commerce portal projects.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
- Flexible, independent and self-motivated
