Senior Quantity Surveyor (or Cm/pm Expert)

We, property developer, are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor (minimum of 15 years independently running full life cycle of the role) for real estate development projects based in Vietnam.

The role is looking for experienced candidates to focus on all aspects of quantity surveying, cost control, technical and commercial contract management

As a proven Quantity Surveyor you will have a track record working on complex major construction/development projects. You will possess either a Degree or Certificate and will have the drive and confidence to work in a professional site or office based team. You will need to be results driven and someone who is able to work at a fast pace in a team with energy and focus. You will also have previously worked as a quantity surveyor on a similar value project or now be looking to progress onto large more prestigious work.
You'll seek to minimize the cost of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. You'll prepare estimates and costs of the work and when the project is in progress, you'll keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability as the in-house controller of property development company.

The candidate will have the following attributes:
- Degree qualified – University graduate in architectural or building engineering
- Previous experience working with consultancy as CM/PM/contractor on medium or large scale
projects from A to Z
- Experience of delivering complex contracts valued at 50m plus
- Experience working within Vietnam
- Advanced English skills (speaking, listening and writing)
- Proficient use of MS Office, Microsoft Project, Auto Cad, Excel, and other software used for
technical work.
