Senior Quality Specialist

The Quality team is dedicated to implementing a culture and practice of excellence throughout the
entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a
sustainable way.
ABB's High Voltage Products team provides products which help enhance the safety, reliability and
efficiency of power networks while minimizing environmental impact. Our technology leadership
continues to facilitate developments in areas such as ultra-high-voltage power transmission, enabling
smart grids and enhancing eco-efficiency.
You will establish and maintain a Quality Culture within local ABB, by assuring and controlling
Quality with systems, tools and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable
operations of the Power Grids in Vietnam. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be in charge of
developing and maintaining the Quality Management System of the local unit.

Your responsibilities:
- Leading Quality Improvement Projects in factory and executing the local approach to continuous improvement and strategy deployment via L6S.
- Facilitating best practice sharing within your location and working in cross functional teams to execute the strategy and escalate as necessary to remove roadblocks.
- Providing training, coaching and facilitation support to individuals and teams to drive standardization and consistency within the L6S project and to make sure the knowledge is well transferred within the GB community.
- Working with department staff to improve existing test protocols and capability, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and/or reliability of test outcomes.
- Organizing and leading regular quality meetings to improve the quality process in the factory with Production Manager, Foremen, and Process Engineer.

- Investigating the quality problem and manage the problem-solving activities based on data analysis and delivering test instructions.
- Supporting production in technical and material questions and providing training and support to production workers regarding quality.

- A University degree in Mechanical.
- Over 5 years in quality control and qualified L6S green belt.
- Good knowledge on quality management.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft, CAD, SAP, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and structurally under pressure.
- Good analytical, supervisory and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
