Mô tả công việc

Key Purpose of the Job:

• This role is responsible for managing the strategic relationship with FOOTWEAR SOURCING FW factories in the assigned sourcing cluster by focusing on adherence to quality standards, on time performance, automation and manufacturing efficiency while ensuring compliance with FOOTWEAR SOURCING Responsible Sourcing principles.

• Contribute to the creation of the yearly business strategy and effectively cascade and translate it into actionable work plans for the team of managers and associates in the nominated factory cluster.

• Coach and develop the team providing quarterly timely constructive feedback and guidance. Optimize talent through deep understanding on strengths of his/her assigned team providing guidance on their growth and career development and actively seeking for internal movement opportunities.

• Promoting internal and external communication within assigned team and cross-functional departments to execute the buys in mass production, leading the resolution of problems during WIP process to achieve on-time delivery performance.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Participate in the creation and/or evolution of existing and/or new processes and strategic projects executing it with the assigned team and factory cluster.

• Supervise and evaluate the competencies of team members under his/her structure on a regular basis and provides prompt personalized feedback to managers and guidance to drive high performance and continuous improvement.

• Work closely with Planning Team leader to validate product allocation, factory capacity booking and production plans to ensure that they are viable and realistic.

• Oversee pre-production and production related activities within his/her assigned factory cluster to ensure adherence to SOP and that “On-Time Performance” obligations are being met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Pre-production:

• Lead the team to evaluate construction complexity against factory capacity and capability, provide suggestions to maximize factory efficiency and delivery continued performance

• Review and identify potential Pre-production or Production issues and provide viable options or solutions to solve these problems. Communicate technical issues to brand, PD and engineering suggesting possible solutions which may require their approval.

• Lead the creation and/or evolution of operation processes that facilitate integration of lean and automation throughout the factory cluster to achieve consistent quality, efficiency and cost targets. Connect with engineer and lean team to identify potential cost savings and efficiency gains.

Production:

• Balance workflow and workload of the location-based team for the production related activities to ensure adherence SOP’s, and “On Time Performance” obligations are being met.

• Liaise with FOOTWEAR SOURCING FW Quality Org. to ensure that production footwear meets FOOTWEAR SOURCING FW quality standards

• Nurture a close working relationship/partnership with FOOTWEAR SOURCING Vendors Management delivering exceptional results against FOOTWEAR SOURCING Production Ops. OGSTM.

• Set the expectations to all members of his/her Team to ensure all FOOTWEAR SOURCING key initiatives are met such as Global Responsible Sourcing, Automation, and OG Mold Prevention initiatives.

• Evaluate production line during start-up of a new model to ensure production status and produce meet required quality standards. Report any concerns along with suggestions to PD and engineering team.

• Increasing overall awareness, accountability and compliance of CSR policy across the factory cluster upholding all FOOTWEAR SOURCING CSR policies, such as Vendor Subcon Policy, factory working hours. Along with factory management drive sustainable resolution of recurring CSR findings.

• Collaborate with other FOOTWEAR SOURCING Sr. Managers and PM’s to develop and implement Best Practices across the entire FOOTWEAR SOURCING FW Vendor base.

• Coordinate the implementation of New Product Introduction/Hyper-Care model, LEAF program, and the specific actions associated to these programs. Modify and follow the specific SOP to those models.

• Support FOOTWEAR SOURCING Quality Org. to optimize the quality process within assigned factories.

• Effectively translate business strategy into actionable work plans for managers action upon.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

Minimum Relevant Experience: 10 years

Minimum Supervisory Experience: 6 years

Minimum Academic Requirement: University or College

Major Subject: Business or related

Required Professional Qualification:
1) University/College degree/diploma or above.
2) Production Management experience in footwear or related field with a multinational company.
3) Good command of English language and excellent communication skills.
4) Good computer skills in Windows operating environment (Office, Word, Excel, etc.).
5) Good Management, coaching and teamwork skills.

Required Written Language: Strong written capability in English

Required Oral Language: Excellent English

• Extensive knowledge of footwear development, pre-production processes, quality, manufacturing and materials, must have branded footwear experience.

• Be inclusive of and actively engages team members with different backgrounds or preferences. Effectively mediates when conflicts arise.

• Manage relationships effectively with partnered factories and FOOTWEAR SOURCING’s cross functional teams such as Product Development, Costing, GMS, SO, Planning, etc... Debates and provides feedback constructively with stakeholders, with an aim to achieve a shared goal.
