Senior Production Engineer

the company’s brand. The Head Office and Transformer Factories are located in Hanoi, High Voltage
and the Medium Voltage Power Product factories are in Bac Ninh, other branch offices are situated in
Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
ABB’s Power Grid division delivers products, systems, services and software solutions. The products mainly include high voltage products, transformers, grid system and grid automation. The major customers are power value chain serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure.

ABB Vietnam is seeking a Senior Product Engineer who will be responsible to optimize the methods, process to achieve the targeted cost. Based at Hanoi and reporting, your key areas of responsibilities would be, but are not limited to:

• Define and ensure the working phase sequence and production methods to achieve the target product cost and equipment investment.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities to ensure adherence to timeframe, quality and cost.
• Ensure adherence to compliance in production process and approve the development internal and external development of the process.
• Provide support to production during internal/external process start-up and action plans and training relevant maintenance.
• Evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, testing activities and approval.

To be considered for this position you should have,
• University Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum1 – 3 year experienced as process/ production engineer in similar industry.
• Fresh graduate student with good study result is welcome to apply.
• Knowledge in transformers and/or painting system is advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge on manufacturing process.
• Good command of English & strong communication skills.
