Senior Product Development Manager, Apparel Sourcing (Vietnam)

Our client is a globally recognized high quality life style fashion brand. They have distribution channels all over the world. With a view to expand their sourcing operation in Vietnam, they are looking for a dynamic, highly qualified and motivated Senior Sourcing Manager (Footwear) to drive their sourcing team in Ho Chi Minh City.

Key responsibilities:

• Reporting to regional product development director, Asia Pacific
• Manage, train and develop a team of product development professionals in the Vietnam office
• Working closely with corporate designers, managing sampling, costing, product specifications and product quality
• Working closely with other development counterparts including sales, production, sourcing team.
• Working closely with regional development team located in their regional office in Hong Kong.
• Driving operation efficiency, improving product margins, timing of samples, costs and quality

Work Location: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Key requirements:

• University graduate preferably from business or engineering
• Apparel development experience is a MUST, US brand experience a plus
• 7 years or more experience in apparel development and sourcing
• Able to work in a dynamic multi national corporation environment
• Solid English language and presentation skills
