Senior Officer_Marketing & Communications ( Media & PR)

The Marketing & Communications Senior Officer will be a part of the media team located in the Ho Chi Minh office. This position requires working closely with the firm’s spokespeople to promote their points of views (PoVs) in the market place, in line with the firm’s objectives, also leverage media relations and networks to build and uphold the firm’s brand.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Identify targeted PoVs and profiling opportunities for the firm’s spokespeople across a variety of platforms (traditional media, digital, integrated marketing campaigns, industry events).
- Craft compelling angles to position the firm’s PoVs in the marketplace effectively
- Build strong personal leadership profiles for the firm’s leaders
- Pitch stories to the media/engage the media through regular contact and goodwill gestures
- Work with the team to produce regular reports to demonstrate achievements of marketing efforts and commitments.

2. Support in external and internal communications activities and initiatives:
- Crafting talking points for external speaking engagements and leadership messages
- Creating/reviewing marketing collaterals
- Contributing to publications and thought leadership

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with M&C team members in crafting integrated marketing campaigns to broaden our engagement and reach
- Support M&C team in selected projects (integrated marketing campaigns and events)

Requirements
• University degree in journalism, communications/media relations or relevant field.
• Minimum four years of corporate communications experience, preferably gained in a local or international news organization or publishing house. Having work experience in a financial institution, professional service industries with regional exposure, business chamber and/or public relations agency would be an advantage.
• Strong writing and analytical skills, including writing features, press releases and speeches.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Vietnamese in academic style
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Energetic, well organized and with the ability to lead self and others, coordinate tasks and responsibilities, and support other team members to deliver results.
