GENERAL FUNCTION:
Lead and oversee a team of Mold Engineer’s which follow on a complete process for any new mold opening, replacement, maintenance and repair and production approval for all brands associated with Wolverine World Wide manufacturing, reporting to the Commercialization Director.
Directly communicate with the US based brands, Asia products development and engineering teams and mold shops and global planning team.
To do people Management and vendor communication, reading and understanding technical drawings and the associated 2D and 3D software/files; to create drawings and various gauges for different types and check them for molds used in footwear industry.
Understand the various materials/alloys, the related cost for material and construction used, for different types of molds and their behavior, service life, constructions, mold lead-times, mold making techniques, understand and evaluate the mold shop capabilities.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Weekly update to PD Asia and USA, Commercialization and Planning team
2. Perform initial and ongoing Mold reviews
3. Vendor coordination and continues improvements
4. Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestion for correcting errors
5. Participate in Start-up meetings to assist developing the best design for manufacturability
6. Utilized most advanced techniques available such as Mold-flow analysis prior to finalize Mold design and create report
7. Follow up and keep track of Timelines and highlight possible delays
8. Constant internal contact with C&E, QA, Development, Mold shops, Sample Room
9. Driving standardization processes for Lead-time reduction and Cost savings
10. Tracking raw material prices for different alloys used for mold making
11. Team Performance mid-year and final reviews
12. Team development and improvement plans

Quyền lợi được hưởng
- 13th month salary
- Obligatory SHUI insurance as required by Vietnam government and commercial insurance
- 15 annual leave days per year and 1 day off for Christmas Holiday
