Senior Merchandiser (in Cat Lai, Dist.2)

Taking a product through from conception and sampling to packed finished article consistently achieving agreed quality, delivery, safety, ethical standards. As part of a team you will be involved in sourcing raw materials and accessories, negotiating contracts with suppliers, monitoring production, booking deliveries, liasing with international buyers, designers and technical teams.

Job Description:
This will be discussed in more detail at the interview. In brief:
To manage key accounts taking products from the design phase to sample development/production/packaging/export.
Negotiate supply contracts with local and international factories.
To work closely with factories, garment production/QC teams, technicians and sampling rooms to ensure all samples/orders are delivered on time to the highest quality standards.
Update critical path reports for all key customers.
Prepare costing sheets for key accounts.
Work with technicians, purchasing and logistics departments to order fabrics and accessories from local/foreign suppliers.
Assist customers on design concepts and fabric selection.
Ensure Albetta complies with customer’s quality, technical and social compliance standards

Relevant Experience: As well as first class commercial skills the position requires extensive technical knowledge of fabrics and garments and great teamwork and management abilities.
At least 5+ years working in an international garment company.
Knowledge of the European Fashion Industry would be useful.
Technical knowledge of Garment Construction/ Production.
Good negotiation skills.
This position requires excellent English.
