JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the business marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Provide strategic leadership to a diverse marketing team to work with genuine commitment and achieve business strategic priorities.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Marketing Management
• Contribute to university’s sales target by developing and implementing marketing strategies and marketing campaigns/ programmes for each product.
• Provide short and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
• Maintain research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
• Provide feedback into product development and service offers and participates in their development; collaborate to create, launch and track performance of product and service offerings in our markets.
• Ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to in all marketing activities across the company.
• Achieve the Marketing Enquiries and enrolment target

2. PR & Event Management
• Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
• Coordinate all public relations activities
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
• Manage media inquiries and interview requests
• Create content for press releases, by-line articles and keynote presentations
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
• Coordinates and execute flawless events through managing all aspects of event coordination including: budgeting, event and program messaging, materials creation, signage/giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, accommodations, participant registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site production, F&B, and logistics.
• Negotiate contracts vendors to meet business needs and keep costs down
• Coordinate with sales to follow up on leads from each event and track ongoing to Achieve the Marketing Enquiries
3. Others
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Lead and maintain a talented marketing team by orienting, training, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Prepare periodic agreed reports for Management timely
• Undertake any other assignments as delegated by Line manager and/or the Vice Chancellor and President

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Vietnamese national is preferred or qualified personnel to be based in Hanoi, Vietnam
- Graduate in Business Management / Marketing / Public Relations or business related degree preferably from an internationally reputable university
RELATED EXPERIENCE
- At least four (4) years of management experience in Marketing and Communications areas in an international working environment (in a foreign multinational company in Vietnam or overseas)
- Proven copy writing experience for PR articles, direct mail, email, web and events
- Intensive experience in Internet Marketing is desired.
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
- Experience working in a flexible and changeable environment
- Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade in marketing including PR, written communication, website development, market research, content creation, Microsoft software suite of products, visual communication software products, and creative services. Desirable – Adobe creative suite
- Experience managing external PR and communication consulting firms and contractors.
- Experience in the local Vietnamese marketplace is a plus.
- Fluent in English with outstanding copywriting skills

- Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills.
- Ability to delegate and coordinate the efforts of a team of diverse employees.

- Experience working in a flexible and changeable environment
