Senior Manager, Paint ShopTop management

1. Planning
• Cooperate with Production planning/Make Budget planning in Paint shop line.
• Establish process plans for all operations on-line and conduct time studies
• Make maintenance budget details plan for all Topcoat paintshop and also new ED coating line yearly.
• Plan head count to service daily and weekly production schedules
• Plan maintenance schedule for all production equipment in production

2. Product completion & delivery
• Ensure production processes and methods to maintain standard of product quality especially with new S class and new ED coating system with very high quality requirements
• Give work directions, arrange for problem solution, control work schedules and establish deadlines
• Be in charge both topcoat paintshop with new S class and current E / C / GLK and new Fuso commercial truck and ED coating line with production completion and ensure delivery time
• Review and analyse reports, records and directives, and confer with supervisory personnel
• Establish continuous improvement in production efficiency and effectiveness and quality processes

3. Quality & MPS operation
• Direct measures to ensure product quality based on Daimler standards
• Monitor all related activities to MPS project and ensure compliance with Daimler AG standards
• Strictly follow up the quality issues /Ensure Quality target achievement as defined.

4. Others
• Ensure that assembly production related equipment in good condition.
• Training recruiting and performance appraisal; Managing, coaching and motivating employees; Appraising employees and determine variable salary/ bonus based on company performance regulation

• University degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in painting automotive is highly priority.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supervisory management level automotive production or similar
• Bilingual – English/ Vietnamese or German/ Vietnamese at negotiation level.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and operation strategies.
• Advanced technical knowledge of Production concerning Painting such as process, time frame, complexity, tools, flow of material, vehicle parts, etc.
