Senior Legal Manager

This is a senior role with the potential career goal of recruiting and managing your own team with experienced lawyers. As a start, you will collaborate effectively with a team member to achieve overall executive objectives and reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Legal.


Description

As a Senior Legal Manager you will work in a highly international, matrix and multi-cultural environment where you will lead and advise RMIT Vietnam on a broad spectrum of legal matters. You will build and maintain strong and effective partnerships with RMIT Vietnam executives and external stakeholders, will create legal awareness and provide pragmatic business solutions. This Senior Legal Manager will be expected to think out of the box, mitigate risks and have the ability to influence the decision making process to drive business objectives and RMIT Vietnam's future growth. You will act on a Group level and will report to the Director of Finance & Legal and liaise with the General Counsel in RMIT Melbourne


Profile

* LL.M
* Qualified lawyer with at least 8 years of experience in corporate/ labour/commercial law and partnerships or international joint ventures, knowledge of property and construction law is desirable
* Experience working in a complex, multi-stakeholder, international working environment
* A driven and highly collaborative and influential approach to work
* Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skill
* Fluent in English and Vietnamese , both verbal as written
