Senior Java Engineer

-As an experienced Java Engineer in our SWAT team, you have a rare opportunity to play a part in shaping the
tech stacks of our global platforms backend. You will excel in this role with a blend of backend development,
microservices design and implementation, cloud-based deployment and DevOps tasks.
-Be part of highly-skilled team who are responsible for suggesting and validating technical solutions of
backends of our platforms
●Review and audit code of projects
●Optimize and refactor existing code to achieve better performance
●Research on new technologies and frameworks to suggest to technical management board

Excellent software engineering skills with Java 8+ or Kotlin, with minimum 5 years of hands-on
experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks
● Extensive knowledge of API implementation, multi-language knowledge is highly desirable
● Strong knowledge of database systems, both relational (MySQL, Postgres) or no-SQL (MongoDB and
Dynamo DB)
● Strong knowledge of microservices and container-based architecture
● Solid understanding of messaging systems and protocols, such as AMQP, AWS SQS and SNS,
RabbitMQ
● Experienced with APM platforms and can utilise them to monitor and optimize system performance,
such as NewRelic, Datadog or Elastic APM
● Very good knowledge of AWS technologies and frameworks, including API Gateway, Lambda, SQS,
SNS, CloudFormation
● Knowledge of Kubernettes is a big advantage
● Knowledge of Java 17 and GraalVM is also a great advantage
● Good understanding and application of design patterns.
● Any other surrounding tech stacks, such as CI/CD platforms, logging frameworks, web servers are
definitely plus.
