Senior Java Developer

• Troubleshoot and debug across Jira and integrated systems
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement Jira plug-ins to support business needs
• Develop and deploy custom plugins for Jira.
• Perform 3rd Party Plugin evaluations and POCs.
• Develop custom groovy scripts, listeners, plugins, client integrations, and client extending Jira.
• Collaborate with internal customers to develop requirements and design of workflows.
• Provide SME consultation for client integrations.
• Create Jenkins jobs to automate Jira DevOps tasks.
• Tune and optimize the end-user experience, schema configurations, and underlying performance of Jira.
• Extend monitoring and alerting capabilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Programming, Mathematics/Analytics or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ experience fixing Java/J2EE for applications.
• Experienced with Groovy coding is a plus
• Extensively experienced in integrating Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket primarily) with non-Atlassian applications (Pagerduty) using REST API's.
• Experienced with building custom user macros for Confluence
• Database experience - SQL (mySQL, T-SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experienced in using ScriptRunner of Confluence/Bitbucket is a plus
• Administration experience in these tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, HipChat, Slack, Jira Service Desk.
• Knowledge of Version Control System, Git.
• Familiar with Scrum and Kanban
