Senior IT Officer

- Coordinates with Head of IT and the IT Team to ensure maximum availability and continuity of Information Technology resources.

- Monitor and track Network & System Platforms to maintain performance and standards.

- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools

- Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure.

- Updating and patching equipment. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a monthly/quarterly basis for Windows and Linux servers.

- Communication with staff/customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft infrastructures that include Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, office 365 , VMWare

- Certifications such as MCSA or CCNA are an advantage.

 - Must be highly motivated and able to research and learn new technologies.

- Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with staffs/clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution
