Senior IT Executive

Install, maintain and improve the hardware infrastructure, associated software systems, auxiliary systems, and network performance by implementing new technologies whilst maintaining network and maintain IT infrastructure of the business.
To oversee all the support activities and developments in the SAP system and ensure a smooth operating system to the end users.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of network. Plan and supervise maintenance and administration of all network related hardware, and system software.
- Suggest, Implement, Supervise and monitor system improvements projects and enhancements relating to installations (Systems, Network, Server / Computer hardware ).
- Continuously update the system and LAN/ WAN configuration along with the Systems Engineer to satisfy the constant requirement of the organization to “do things better “. Continuously evaluate threats and safeguard the system against threats. .
- Provide technical information to help decide on network related hardware purchases, propose new methods, software and tools to improve the business systems and processes.
- Troubleshoot network software, network related application issues and network related hardware / Software failures by providing necessary support along with the IT staff members whenever necessary & resolve problems pertaining to software specifications or bugs with vendor.
- Maintain the helpdesk and allocate tasks to system support executive. Ensure problems are resolved within agreed time frames.
- Constantly ensure that the network is well monitored and maintained according to specifications handed down by the Manager. Implement ICT policies, standards and architecture, adopting and implementing group level policy and standards where applicable.
- Design and develop solutions with special emphasis on SAP to meet internal customer requirements taking preventive measures to solve functional and technical errors, analyse the feasibility of the solutions together with the Business Process Experts prior to release.
- Monitor SAP server backups and ensure that the SAP back up processes are error free.
- Work with the SAP core team (Business Process Experts) to train and develop end users for SAP. Support, evaluate and document development requests.
- Work with the software engineer to resolve / troubleshoot SAP issues and provide feasible user friendly business solutions to ensure continuous operation of the system
- Perform additional duties by gathering extracting editing info based on management or user request in order to assist decision making.

- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Industrial Certification with at least 10 years working experience in System/Network Administrator/Software
- Familiar with SAP System is an advantage
- Self-motivated, ability to face challenges, interest in learning about new technologies and keeping up with new trends
- Fluently in English
