Senior Infrastruture Consultant (Linux/ Windows)

Location: HCMC (Only)

INFRASTRUCTURE CONSULTANT (Linux/Unix)

Education and/or Experience

B.S., M.S. or equivalent degree in Information Technology or relevant major
At least 5 years of experience in delivering technical support services


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Hands-on experience of Linux server administration skills; in particular with Oracle Linux Enterprise, Red Hat Enterprise or Unbreakable Linux.
The ability to take ownership for assigned tasks on projects, reporting on personal progress
Ability to communicate with the team and clients across multiple geographies
Proficiency in English


Duties

Engaging in the delivery of support services
Monitoring, managing and resolving support incidents in conjunction with the central Managed Services Helpdesk
Involvement in the development of new IT solutions and the maintenance of support documentation
Involvement in pre-sales activities; giving technical input to proposals, delivering presentations
Providing technical support, consultancy and administration across a range of technologies, principally Oracle Linux enterprise, Oracle Cloud/ Virtualization services and Monitoring services
Scripting and automation with ability to create minor maintenance scripts
Working closely with implementation consultants, offshore Managed Services consultants and client staff to scope and deliver projects




INFRASTRUCTURE CONSULTANT (Windows)
Education and/or Experience:

B.S., M.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant major.
At least 3 years of experience in delivering technical Support services in a highly corporate environment.
Hands-on experience of Windows server administration skills across all operating system versions; in particular Windows Server 2012R2/2016


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS and DHCP
Knowledge of Microsoft Private Cloud, Microsoft System Centre 2012 suite and Hyper-V virtualization deployment, migration and support
The ability to take ownership for assigned tasks on projects, reporting on personal progress
Ability to communicate with the team and clients across multiple geographies
Proficiency in English
Having certifications [Cisco CCNA, CCNP] and/or [Juniper JNCIS, JNCIP] and / or Microsoft certifications [2008, 2012 – MCSA/ MCSE or MCSD] is an advantage
