Senior HSSE Executive

• Liaise with Area HSSE Manager to implement HSSE and dangerous goods standards and requirements for warehousing and trucking vendors.
• Be an active participant within the Maersk VNM HSSE team.
• Roll out Maersk Area HSSE training on dangerous goods for warehousing and trucking vendors
• Have oversight of Vietnamese Labor / HSSE / legal compliance/trucking & warehousing compliance
• Conducts HSSE risk assessments and ensure corrective and preventive measures are undertaken for vendors
• Investigates, analyzes and reviews incidents/accidents related to vendors
• Audit subcontractors & follow-up to ensure adequate HSSE performance
• Providing support for Area commercial and products team on chemical business / regulations
• Together with Procurement and Transport teams to make sure vendors comply with local regulation on chemical / dangerous goods of both warehousing and trucking
• Regular update of both International and Local regulation development on chemical / dangerous goods
• Ability to travel both locally and internationally – Cambodia, Myanmar etc
• Ability to translate local / international chemical & dangerous goods regulations into implementation
• Support the project team to understand local / international dangerous goods regulation on warehousing, transport and implementation requirement
• Localize procedures and guidelines from Maersk global HSSE team for warehousing, trucking management
• Ability to deliver relevant dangerous goods – IMDG training to internal & external parties (staffs, trucking vendors, ports)
• Ability to audit the warehouse / trucking vendors with Maersk standards
• Application of Maersk HSSE standards within local context
• Acting as gate-keeper for all dangerous goods business of Maersk within Area (Vietnam-Cambodia-Myanmar)
• To make sure Maersk dangerous goods business align with local regulation within Area

• Fluency in English and Vietnamese
• Understand international logistics, supply chain, trucking, warehousing
• Computer literate
• Minimum university education preferred
• IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods) certificate holder
• Minimum 5 year-experience working with chemical industry including trading, warehousing and transport of dangerous goods
• Minimum 3 year-experience working with Contract Logistics
• Have good understanding of local / international chemical regulations in trading, warehousing, transportation
• Contract logistics project implementation experience preferred
• Business Continuity Planning – BCP experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years HSSE experience preferred
