This role reports directly to Head of HR on daily basis, and perform a full range of duties, including but not limited to:
HRBP for ISHCMC school:
Follow up on any issues related to employment and labor issues and resolve problems.
Provide support to a range of HR projects, as requested, to contribute to the successful achievement of outcomes on these projects.
Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
Assists Senior HR Manager with daily tasks and other duties as assigned by HR Director
Expatriate services:
- Manages the relocation process of new teacher for new school year in 2020 including but not limited to working with mobility/relocation vendors to manage all aspects of the relocation, including destination services, household goods shipment, etc.; immigration provider to understand immigration compliance issues and to manage visa/work permit process.; offer and guide new teachers at overseas; conduct induction training to new teachers at the beginning of a school year; explain and answer concerns on annual home flight, driver’s license, health services, banking, domestic help, etc...
The job holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young person’s for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he must report any concerns to the School’s Child Protection Officer/Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head of indeed to the Regional CEP so that a referral can be made accordingly to the relevant third part services.

• Experience in expatriate services (work permit, visa, TRC application, relocation process, etc.)
• Good understanding of working environment and culture of an international school; be familiar with managing expatriate (HR issues) in Vietnam.
• Creative thinking
• Strong teamwork ethic
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and networking skills
• Hands on experience in administering a major HR software system e.g. HRIS or SAP.
Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in HR related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 year progressive experience in the position
