KPMG Vietnam’s Global Mobility Services (GMS) business helps our clients through the whole compliance cycle from briefings to tax return preparation and correspondence with the tax authorities. Through employment tax services we identify and resolve payroll tax issues early and assist on Payroll and Payroll related services. We provide tax advisory for all PIT and SHUI related matters. We offer immigration services to help obtain necessary visa, work and residences permits, as well as determine applicable visa category. We advise on immigration topics and processes. We support on due diligence services and tax health checks to identify issues that could result in unexpected financial consequences for a company.
We are currently seeking Senior Consultant to join our GMS Tax practice. The caliber of our clients and business practices will give you the opportunity to strengthen your analytical skills, effective communication skills and engagement management skills as you help our clients manage their people from both a mobility and tax perspective.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Provide support and services prior to and during assignments, as well as during repatriation/localization including: assignment cost analysis, expatriate orientations, immigration …
• Advise the client on policy, compensation strategies and process changes as appropriate;
• Preparing/ reviewing tax planning and advice on employment contract
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns
• Interact with the Tax Authority in relation to your clients’ affairs

Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in relevant subjects, e.g. accounting, finance, economics, law
• Two to three years relevant experience in either external and/or internal tax function
• Proven track record in successfully dealing with the local Tax Authority
• A good command of spoken and written English, showcased by confidence in speaking to foreigners;
• Competent and literate with the following packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Strong organizational, time management skills and effective communication skills
• Ability to work and perform under pressure with tight deadlines
• Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth.
• Deliver quality service and value to clients
• Must absolutely love dealing / interacting with people
