Senior / General Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
Under the responsibilities of the Finance - Accounting Manager, supervise accounting and tax matters for Wind farm project Company as required

ACCOUNTING
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
• Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
• Prepare Group reporting under IFRS as per Group requirements
• Preparation of audit packages and answer queries from auditors and advisors
• Preparation of loan reports and register oversea loans to State Bank
• Responsible for accounting processes (i.e. AP & AR process, GL, Fixed assets, inventories, account reconciliation, etc.) for the entity

COMPLIANCE AND TAX
• Support and ensure full compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal
• Prepare VAT, PIT, CIT and other tax reports
• Advise management on tax compliance and liaise with tax agents on the corporate tax matters

INTERNAL CONTROL
• Control that expenses claims of TBC Vietnam employees are genuine, compliant and respect company policy

REPORTING & COST CONTROL
• Analysis and comments of the monthly financial statement
• On-demand cost studies (travel costs, department costs)

BACK-UP
• Back-up manager on accounting and tax matters

SYSTEMS
• Back-up Key user of accounting software (Xero)

OTHERS
• Do monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for Statistic Dept
• To apply any change about business information with DPI
• To work with bank for any change of treasury issues
• Support other entity if needs including travel to site and office task

Counterparts
• Internal: Accounting departments in sister companies and with Group
• External: External auditors, tax agents, local tax and government authorities

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor
• Major: Accounting

Years of Experience Required:
• At least 5 years of experience

Essential Skills and Requirements:
• Good at Tax and Accounting knowledge
• Advanced in English and Vietnamese communication
• Accounting software using
• Logical, independent and team working
• Job management skill
• Problem solving skill
• Immediate availability is a plus
