Senior Development

PROCESS (for daily working)
- Check daily samples under processing and manage with pattern room / Sample room / junior merchandiser to make sure priority is given to correct samples
- Communicate with sales team about sample status – inform sent sample with full detail and inform when samples are late
- Receive TF or Sourcing Fabric or Sourcing accessory from Manager or buyer
- Check Google sheet has been updated correctly and reflect correct status for all samples
- Ensure Development template is complete with Fabric details and sourcing suppliers selected by seniors / accessory details / Deadlines
- Assign development request to concerned Junior Development Merchandiser
- Meet pattern maker to make sure the shape Is understood and that there is enough information to complete the pattern
- Pass TF to sample room to complete pattern
- Nego CM price / understand and compare CM price
- Be in CC with all fabric suppliers to make sure request are received on time and information received is reasonable - check fabric price to make sure they meet buyer level – ask supplier to offer alternative if price is too high
- Receive and review net cost – compare net cost with buyer price level – compare with previous season and offer solution if out of balance
- Review sample with Junior merchandiser and approve for sending if perfect or ask remake or show manager if any doubt.
- Coordinate sample sending with woven and knit team

- Be responsible for development process from buyer request to submission
- Work with Junior Development Merchandiser to ensure all development samples or fabric submission according to standard
- Communicate with material supplier to complete sourcing and arrange material
- Check all samples when completed to ensure the style and workmanship follow requirement
- Review all net cost made by junior and pass to manager to offer FOB
- Coordinate sample sending and ensure correct people are notified
