Senior Costing

• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs
• Analyze actual production costs and prepare quarterly reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Own and lead margin and cost analysis; maintain reports, validate data
• Lead and partner with cross functional teams to develop and implement cost standards, tools, and processes that enable efficient and accurate product cost
• Partner with development and production teams to review margins, provide analysis, and recommendations to reduce cost without jeopardizing quality
• Prepare various financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information for various customers as needed for decision making support
• Develop and maintain standard costs of finished goods and production components in BC system; ensure validity and accuracy of BC
• Drive adherence to calendar deadlines for key costing-related activities
• Lead in creating, developing and maintaining supply chain vendors cost performance metrics
• Manage workflow of direct reports
• Assign tasks, objectives, responsibilities and like to direct reports, and through coaching, performance evaluation and feedback, enable those direct reports to perform their duties and to achiever their objectives
• Mentor direct reports to develop strong work habits necessary for costing – accuracy, diligence, detail oriented
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in production, accounting or related field
• 5+ of garment costing experience
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing a plus
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to multi task and meet deadlines
