Senior Contracting Executive

POSITION PURPOSE
Support the Contracting Team Leader in delivery of elements combined to be effective and influential product development ac-tivities. To become an ‘expert’ on available Vietnam supplies offered in BRS. To be responsible for managing the supplies data-base in company’s systems and keep internal/external product information up to date.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Management assistance
• Assist Team Leader with day to day key Contracting activities
• Status report of tasks at and deadline deliverables
• Managing supplies database in Buffalo Tours reservation system.
• Contact internal teams and external suppliers to collect all needed tour information and picture material for product brochures.

Supplier Contracting
• Contact suppliers to contract rates and availability
• Benchmark incoming contracts and promotions for competitiveness
• Enroll suppliers through supply enrollment process
• Keep information in the system up to date
• Work with key suppliers to keep and enhance relationship for mutual benefits
• Conduct yearly review of Health and Safety audit
• Analyze, benchmarking, and resolve any rates or availability issue of key supplies.
• Respond to requests from teams and externals regarding supplies and services

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 1-year experience in tourism, preferable in Contracting or Operations.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Tourism, Sales & Marketing or any related filed.

- SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Negotiation skill
- Attention to details and preciseness in maintaining records and databases.
- Understanding of the consumer behavior in tourism
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for databases and reservation systems.
- Willing to travel to various places within the country outside of normal office hours.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Good communication skills (internal and with external suppliers).
- Positive attitude, mature, pro-active, high responsibility, service-minded, enthusiastic, adaptable/flexible, dynamic.
- Consumer focus, creative, inter-personal and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
