Senior Consultant/manager - Financial Risk Management, Quantitative Background

KPMG’s Financial Risk Management (FRM) banking advisory team advises clients on the development and implementation of risk management policies, systems, tools and controls.
- The scope of the work covers the full spectrum of financial risks, such as credit risk, market risk, operational risk and liquidity risk; economic capital, capital management, stress testing, risk modeling and validation; regulatory compliance issues; and the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing.
- There is a particular emphasis currently on the implementation of Basel II and other current local and international regulatory and risk management initiatives. Clients include financial institutions, and there is a strong focus on banking sector.
- The Quant team members will be working with our foreign Quant experts to develop quantitative tools and models for Clients in Financial Services not only in Vietnam but also in the APAC region.

- Bachelor degree or above in either statistics, econometrics, or related fields
- Having analytic mindset, quantitative and modelling background
- Expertise and hands-on experience in data analysis, risk management
- Programming skills in R, SAS, VAB
- Having knowledge and experience of financial services industry is a plus
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, FRM is a plus
- Good command of verbal and written English is a plus
- Motivated and committed
- Strong time management and coordination skills
