Senior Consultant In International Trade And Customs Services

Our customs and international trade team provides a full range of customs services to our clients
including customs procedures, customs compliance, customs valuation, duty reliefs, tariff classification,
country of origin, duty preferences and business restructuring to ensure our clients are duty and tax
efficient across the global supply chain. As a Senior Consultant, you will play an important role by
assisting with projects relating to the design and implementation of customs procedure/duty optimisation
strategies, and customs compliance. Due to strong growth, we are looking for Senior Consultants to join
our Hanoi International Trade and Customs Team. 

Key responsibilities:

As a Senior Consultant, you will have detailed and practical knowledge of customs and international trade
issues in Vietnam, and you have developed good experience working with government bodies and officials
in Vietnam.
You must understand how customs and trade issues affect our clients’ business, and have the ability to
understand and present complex issues clearly and concisely. In order to manage your work efficiently
and be able to identify business opportunities, you should equip yourself with sound knowledge on
customs procedures, bonded manufacturing, customs valuation, customs classification, cross-border
goods’ origin, and post-clearance audit.
You will support the team to deliver customs and international trade work to clients in various industries.
In addition, you will attend meetings/fieldwork trips/interviews with clients to understand their
businesses and customs/international trade policies. You will also strictly adhere to our risk management
and independence policies.

• 3+ years of relevant experience gained in customs and international trade consulting work;
• University degree in Foreign Trade, Finance, Accounting, or Economics; 
• Customs, legal or industry background in customs and trade compliance;
• Candidate with practical experience in customs brokerage or consulting is preferable;
• Detail oriented and able to meet tight deadlines;
• Enjoy team-work, be self-motivated, and show willingness to learn;
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese;
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
