Senior Commercial Accountant

Working Location: KNOC Vietnam
Report to: Commercial Manager
Main Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure familiar with all Terms and condition in Petroleum Sharing Contract, Gas Sale Production Agreement and Transportation Agreement, etc., pertaining to gas and condensate sales.
- Assist with development & review of all kind of commercial form relevant to contract.
- Review and handle Commercial Contract and Legal issues
- Calculate and control the share of partners’ revenues from gas and condensate sales.
- Checking the commercial invoice for gas and condensate sales.
- Calculate provisional and definitive lifting interest or entitlement proportion of gas and condensate sales to each partner.
- Checking the tariff from Nam Con Son Gas Pipeline operator.
- Prepare all calculation reports necessary to buyer and partners.
- Making the Notice in advance for Gas Sales under GSPA.
- Keep watching of payables of Gas Sales Revenue and Condensate Sales Revenue
- Verify Gas Mis-measurement & Gas Stock Adjustment
- Calculate/Making the Quarterly and Yearly PSC Reports.
- Liaison for all buyers and Nam Con Son Gas Pipeline operator with Supervisor.
- Liaison for all FSO Liftings with Surveyors, Customs & Duty departments
- Work with Buyer (PVGas) about Gas Nomination
- Work with NCSP Operator to verify Gas & Condensate Allocation & Gas Shortfall
- Arrange all work related to gas and condensate sales to KC and all other payment for fees and charges
- Liaison with Marketing agent to make a schedule of condensate bidding and lifting
- Attend Best Bid Meeting to award buyer the best bid, review the spot or term sales contract
- Support to PVEP to clear export tax of condensate and finalize export tax refund
- Follow up Joint Marketing Agreement
- Follow-up Gas & Condensate Production Forecast.
- Responsibility for the PSC and Production Statement under SAP System.
- Be part of ERP response team
- Input all necessary accounting vouchers related to above payment and remittance to SAP
- Co-ordinate with accounting department to prepare and produce quarterly cost recovery report, bank reconciliation and tax issues relating to gas and condensate sales.
- Support accounting information when audit
- Coordinate with Operation Dept. and Partners (PVN, PVGas, PVEP) about Planned Shutdown for Maintenance & Engineering Tie-in
- Develop own progress in Company Competency system
- Assist to develop a team culture
- Take other duties are assigned by Line Manager.

Qualification & Skills:
Education: University Degree
Personal Attributes:
- More than 3 years in commercial accounting, preferably within the oil & gas industry, with 2 + years at a supervisory level;
- A sound knowledge of accounting relevant to the International Oil and Gas industry;
- A good command of English both verbal and written;
- Sound track record of effective Accounting related expertise, in the Oil & Gas industry;
- With a comprehensive understanding of all necessary contracts related to Gas/ Condensate sales, Computer Literate in Data base/ spreadsheet and relevant software;
- Have ability to organize own work and meet strict deadlines;
- Good supervisory and leadership skills, along with communication and interpersonal skills.
