Senior Buyer/ French Corporation

Being as a Senior Procurement Buyer performing Sourcing, negotiating and buying of goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account of quality, price and delivery on time and to ensure continuity of supply.

This role has greater responsibility and accountability than a Buyer and includes some people management responsibility. The job holder may take responsibility for a specific project or hold a larger remit in terms of purchasing responsibility.

Reporting line: Senior Supply Chain and Procurement Manager

- Manage a day to day procurement requirements of Camso Viet Nam; negotiate with vendors for maximum value delivery to the business. Work with internal stakeholder to ensure that all requirements are met in terms of work plans, quality, price and delivery.
- Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate an supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations
- Carry out robust market research to identify potential sources
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible.
- Deliver briefs, updates and make reports, KPIs as when required.
- Develop ideas and work in line with Business/ functional’ s strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement
- Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business saving utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
- Select priority vendors and component qualification processes with the Technical team as appropriate.
- Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement activities
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, procurement policies, company code of ethics and procedures guidance during supplier negotiation and contract award process

- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent;
- You have a minimum of 5 year-experience in purchasing of indirect in an International Business;
- You got proven purchasing experience, preferably within automotive or manufacturing environment.
- You are excellent communication in verbal and written – English & Vietnamese;
