Senior Associate Risk Management & Compliance (Acting Head Of Risk Management & Compliance Department)

VCSC is currently seeking a talented individual to join the Risk Management and Compliance team. The Risk Management & compliance department provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the organization's operations. It helps the organization accomplish its objectives by using a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. This position reports to the Board of Management. The hired individual will play a key role in internal auditing reviews and assesses the reliability and integrity of information, compliance with policies and regulations, the safeguarding of assets, the economical and efficient use of resources, and the attainment of established operational goals and objectives.

Key responsibilities:

- Evaluates and leads engagement planning as applied to the overall internal control environment by appropriately assessing financial, operational and business risks and addressing all identified areas of concern.
- Be responsible for managing the corporate compliance program and to ensure that working in collaboration with the various department heads and administrative personnel the business affairs of the organization are conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
- Timely submission of all regulatory reporting requirements (i.e., Reports to State Securities Commission, Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, HNX, and National Finance Supervisory Commission...)

- Bachelor degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience in internal/external control and/or risk management position. Similar role in Banking/Securities/Financial Firm is a strong plus.
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Must be able to interpret standards, analyze complex compliance issues and develop practical, effective solutions, which may include the collaborative development of new policies and procedures.
- Understanding of business technologies and its impact to control practices.
- Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions to complex control, compliance, operational, financial, or technical issues.
- Good in written and oral Vietnamese and English is a must.
