Senior Architect

• Review the architectural construction design documents prepared by the Contractor including drawings, reports, material submission;
• Evaluate the suitability of architectural materials proposed by Contractor for approval considering all aspects of aesthetical, operational and functional specifications including colour, finish, texture, transparency, fire rating, acoustic, weatherproof-ability, eco-friendly…;
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of forming the desired architectural elements during the implementation of the Contractor including:
o Colouring, textures, finishing and shaping effects;
o Spatial and lighting effects;
o Eco-friendship;
o Environmental harmonization;
o Conformity to the planning;
o Functionality and accessibility.
• Control and evaluate the compliance of the implementation to the emergency evacuation requirements following the applied standards NFPA for metro system and other Vietnamese standards;
• Initiate and review the modification and variation related to the architecture field following the unforeseen requests arising during the implementation including authority requests, third parties’ interfaces as well as the designated contractor interfaces;
• Support in management of internal interfaces;
• Review the construction design documents of other disciplines ensuring internal interface of civil works packages (structure, plumbing, low voltage…), minimizing esthetical impacts;
• Support in management of external interfaces with designated contractors and third parties;
• Review the construction design documents of system packages for architecture integration;
• Support in presentation and explanation regarding architectural issues to the Authorities such as HPC, SAC, HAUPA when required;
• Coordinate the supports from SYSTRA’s headquarter.

Qualifications:
• University Degree in architecture,
• Supervision Certificate

+ Minimum 05 years of work experience in architecture engineering,
+ Excellent knowledge of construction industry,
+ Understand technical plans, construction regulations and safety issues,
+ Able to meet deadlines,
+ Able to work with a range of construction workers.
• Languages:
+ English: Good level.
