What your work day will be like:
In general, you will work directly, in English, with the founders of the new and rapidly growing company to understand their vision and implement it on the web, Windows, OSX and on mobile platforms. You will use Agile development methods which include paired programming and emergent business-value prioritized development. You will develop applications on iOS that can grow to support millions of users. You will stay on the cutting edge of mobile application development and have frequent opportunities to learn new technologies.

SecureAge is looking for an experienced Senior Android developer to join a development team working in the mobile security and management industry. This individual should have demonstrated Android ability, and experience working with client/server technology as it relates to mobile technology.

The position requires skill in development of mobile security and mobile management applications and should have demonstrated Android ability, and experience working with client/server technology as it relates to mobile technology. The right candidate will be expected to demonstrate disciplined work habits leading to products that are well-structured, documented, and carefully tested. The ideal candidate can expect to work across all functional areas: application development, integration, test, deployment and O&M. This position may also require direct interaction with end users and customers. Written and spoken English language skills are a must.

Responsibilities:
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 7+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of Android development
• Have published one or more Android apps in the Google Play store
• A deep familiarity with the Android SDK
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

Desired Skills:
• Understanding of computer networks
• Experience working in an Agile Methodology (Scrum) release planning environment
• Experience working in a delivery team where development, testing and DevOps are treated as a single team.
• Certification as Scrum Master
• Experience interfacing to RESTful APIs using JSON or XML messaging
• Good english writing and speaking skills
