Senior Analyst - Clean Investment Team

- Main job purpose: Support the clean energy investment operations of the Clean Investment Team contributing to internal and external activities to develop the business opportunities for the Fund. Reporting to the Director of Clean Investments

- Key responsibilities:
• Contribute to the Clean Investment Team’s execution of new investments and investment exits in clean energy businesses
• Produce Financial Projections, Cashflows, Budgets and Sensitivity Analysis in excel for clean energy developments and acquisitions
• Contribute to the negotiation of third-party finance from banks and co-investors in new investment opportunities
• Manage the delivery of accurate and timely financial management information for managed funds and investee companies to Dragon Capital Group management and to investors, including liaison with external auditors where necessary
• Lead the assessment and management of Environmental, Social and Governance Risk in managed funds and invested companies and reporting on those risks and impacts to investors and Dragon Capital Group
• Lead the process of assessing and maintaining Dragon Capital Group’s carbon neutral status
• Support the Director of Clean Investments in marketing Certified Emission Reductions from clean energy businesses
• Support the development of effective database information systems for internal fund processes of credit approval and relationship management
• Liaison with supporting internal departments, including finance, fund accounting and legal
• Undertake additional related duties as required

- Skills and qualifications required:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Commerce or a related subject
• Ability to manage processes and projects with weekly or monthly management supervision
• Computer literacy, is essential, expert ability in Excel and another financial spreadsheet software is required
• Be accurate, well-organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work without supervision, use initiative to solve problems
• Ability to work cooperatively with internal and external partners
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal in English and Vietnamese
• Friendly, team-work spirit, flexibility to work long hours and to meet deadlines
• CFA qualified is an advantage
• A commitment to study is expected, including to obtain the Certificate of competence to fulfill the role of Chief Financial Officer

- Experience required:
• Minimum of 4-year experience in a similar role
• Experience in development financial modeling and strong analytical skills
• Experience with an investment fund management company, bank or similar financial institution
