Senior Accountant

*GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- Assist the Manager to control the accounting and reporting system of GuocLand Binh Duong.
- Responsible to the Senior Finance Manger

*DUTIES
The main duties of the Employee can be described as follows:

Accountant tasks:
- Perform daily tasks in the Accounting Department
- Keep track of the accounts (accounts payable, accounts receivable)
- Keep track of fixed assets, tools, equipment and inventories
- Keep track of expenses of projects and departments
- Supervise and organize the monthly closing and ensure all financial statements and reports are compiled
- Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls
- Monitor reviews and verifies accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness and adequacy of supporting documentation.
- Manage and operate the accounting software, internal reporting system.
- Prepare all required periodic reports for submission to the Vietnamese authorities
- Prepare all required periodic internal reports
- Prepare monthly/quarterly manual consolidated management reports and other ad-hoc management reports
- Prepare budget, forecast, cash flow and variance analysis
- Deal with bank representatives for daily business, loans, guarantees, bonds…
- Deal with the auditors, tax department, and relevant agencies and departments
- Supervise and urge other staff of the department in their work to ensure timely availability of accurate data.
- Coordinate with other finance and accounting staff within GuocoLand group and headquarter in Singapore.
- Check and file documents in accordance with the Government and internal regulations.
- Study and improve the accounting software to optimize the utilization of the software.
- Build up a database of commercial information regarding tax, accounting requirements, customs and import regulations…

Human resource tasks
- Perform daily tasks in the Accounting Department
- In charge of monthly payroll summary, social insurance, private income tax and submission of monthly report to head office
- Prepare labour contract (include annex) and termination contract
- Handle others related to human resources matters
- Other duties as allocated by the manager.

* Requirement
• Recognized Degree in Accountancy with at least 5 years of relevant working experience;
• Experience related to declaration procedure of VAT, PIT, CIT and FCT
• Experience with ACCPAC software is an advantage
• Good knowledge in Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), Value Added Tax (VAT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Social Insurance and Vietnam Labour Law
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English – Written and spoken
• Have a very high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness
• Ability to work under high pressure
