RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position can work either as Senior Closing & Reporting Accountant or Financial Analyst. The responsibility is:

Senior Closing & Reporting Accountant:

- Responsible for maintaining and analyzing the ledger accounts and developing financial statements and reports.
- Develops and maintains the policies that govern the Company's reporting process and ensures compliance with generally accepted reporting standards.
- May define the accounting system roadmap and system requirements of the future and assist or direct system programming resources in the development of accounting systems.
- Accounting functions may include general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, intercompany accounting, and payroll. Supervision of lower level exempt or non-exempt employees is common among incumbents working in accounting operations.
- Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
- Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Corporate Services Financial Analyst:

- Vietnam site Corporate Service (CS) finance analyst supports CS Operations and site construction activities in HCMC, Intel Vietnam. This role shall report to Asia CS finance controller and being the single point of contact of CS finance on Intel Vietnam site where the analyst has close partnership with site CS manager. The analyst has direct visibility to site finance controller and other site leadership team.
- The analyst is chartered to drive accurate FP&A, effective forecasting and close activities for Vietnam site CS spending as well as partner with construction and procurement team in supporting the sustaining construction projects such as Vietnam site tool install and progressive build projects to ensure adherence to standardized business policies and procedures to adequately manage the financial condition of construction projects.
- This role is one of the few opportunities in Operations Finance where analysts can both develop and perfect project management skills working with the project team as well as external suppliers.
- The analyst will add value to the organization through process improvements, standardization, data analysis and strategic initiatives.
- The position will require active participation and leadership to drive for competitive CS construction and operation spending through cost reduction initiatives and strategy optimization.
- The position will also require effective communication to ATM customers on financial implications and opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Finance/Business
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience or with 5+ year job related practical experience in construction/engineering (for CS Finance Analyst)
- Experience with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with applied accounting and financial analysis, US GAAP and working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
SAP experience
