Senior Accountant - Fixed Assests - Quang Nam Plant

Role:
This role is to ensure accuracy, completeness of fixed asset and spare parts inventory to ensure timely, accurate record of assets declaration, right category, and right approval per company policies and procedures.

Accountabilities:
1.Financial Control and Asset Stewardship
- Lead FA labelling for all new FAs and ensure pictures are taken and saved in shared drive timely and completely.
- Intial Review for all FA/SPP adjustment/write-off/disposal request from operation team.
- Co-ordiate with accoutant on-site to ensure writing off process of inventory to be in compliance with SOP on inventory disposal and in compliance with security gate policy.
- Liaise with procurement team and accountant on-site to liquidate idle assets and ensure invoices are issued/income are recorded timely and accurately in system.
- Make plan of physical count nationwide for FA and SPP and propose necessary headcounts to do physical count at 5 locations.
- Prepare physical count report consolidated for nationwide per company policies and procedures. Verify all the difference/supporting documents with operation team.
- GCS participation and refreshment facilitator
- Perform reviews/analyze business processes designed to strengthen controls, improve efficiency and eliminate redundant tasks/ efforts

• Work closely with Maintenance team on the R&M rolling forecast 3 months to submit timely and accurately
• Consolidate and work with plant for bottom up budget for R&M for 5 plants in AOP, in which separate normal items and ad-hoc items and insight information for higher level review and approval

- Perform reviews/analyze business processes designed to strengthen controls, improve efficiency and eliminate redundant tasks/ efforts
2. Financial reporting and business partnership
- In-charge of declaring new fixed asset code and fixed asset information in system (category, useful life, date in service) for all new assets (both plants and DCs and co-packers) in VAS book/GAAP book/Tax book
- Do fixed asset accruals for month end closing based on work completion progress of each project for 5 locations.
- Prepare month-end closing report including fixed asset reconciliation, capex spending, CIP report, etc…
- Prepare BSR reports monthly with comment on significant movement and long-outstanding items in VAS book
3. INV physical on-site support
- Participate in INV physical count/other count...in assigned location
4. Other ad-hoc tasks
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by line manager such as new project implementation,…

• University graduate, major in Accounting & at least 3 year experiences in similar roles
- Strong technical understanding and knowledge including accounting standard, tax, legislation, company policy and procedures.
- Strong system knowledge and fluent usage of ERP system
- Good communication, problem solving & influencing skill
- Ability to work under time pressure, work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to learn and improve effectiveness in daily operation
- High integrity and acting with due diligence.
- Good Excel and other Microsoft Office Skill (e.g Pivot Table, charts, Dashboard, PowerPoint)
